George has over 25 years experience in information technology, with more than 15 years in managing large, complex programs, including Strategic Outsourcing and Business Resilience Programs for the federal government, as well as global businesses in the telecommunications, financial services, consumer packaged goods, and media and entertainment industries. He earned his Master of Science degree from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and is a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute. Prior to joining IBM, George held various international management positions with Lockheed Martin and General Electric.

Mr. DeMarco joined IBM in the United States in 1980. Early in his career he held numerous operational and management positions associated with large scale information technology centers serving IBM in North America. He has also been responsible for managing the overall business relationship with one of IBM’s largest worldwide clients, advising them on how they can gain competitive advantage through the targeted deployment of information technology and processes. In 1998, Mr. DeMarco joined IBM Business Continuity and Recovery Services as the IBM Executive responsible for worldwide strategy, business development, and offering development. As Director of Marketing and Segment Management, he focused on the strategy and business development domains, in addition to operational deployment and execution in the America’s marketplace.
