 Bob Nakao, Executive Publisher of Continuity Insights, welcomes atteendees on Day One.  Don Demarco, IBM Discusses the challenges and direction of business continuity.  John Jackson, Fusion Risk Management Explains how to maximize the value from your BC solution and provider.   Attendees meet over 50 providers of continuity products and services.  John Copenhaver, DRI International Reviews the global events of 2005 and its impact on our profession.  Attendees had the opportunity to choose from over 60 breakout sessions.  This year’s reception was held at the Musee Conte Wax Museum in the French Quarter.  The museum profiles the history of New Orleans through wax figures and images.  The final day of the conference focused on many post-Katrina stories. As an example, this panel discussed the importance of maintaining communications throught the hurricane.  Dan King, Sheraton New Orleans Manager Concludes the conference with an emotional personal account of the hours during and the days following Hurricane Katrina. |
